Ben's just completed a new commission for Intoto Dance at London Studio Centre. Entitled 'each of us in a place' This student work can be seen at The Robin Howard Theatre on June 19th and on tour nationally from May.

Monday 2nd April: rehearsals begin for Jonathan Dove's new opera for the Salisbury International Festival  The Walk from the Garden. This marks Ben's directorial debut

Booking is now open and the premiere is May 30th and 31st May.

Inspired by the theme of Paradise Lost, Jonathan Dove who is celebrated internationally for his operatic and choral creations, has composed a new church opera especially for the Festival and its resonant Cathedral landscape, in partnership with collaborator and weaver of words Alasdair Middleton. Scored for forces both delicate and powerful, including soprano, tenor, string quartet, organ, timpani, and the Salisbury Festival Chorus and Salisbury Community Choir, the performance is directed by Ben Wright and explores Adam and Eve’s journey out of the Garden of Eden.
